Protect Trees Toowoomba is a grassroots community campaign supported by the Darling Downs Environment Council. It is dedicated to safeguarding the region’s significant trees and ensuring that development respects Toowoomba’s unique ‘Garden City’ character.

We are advocating for an end to clear felling of every tree before new housing developments are built and protecting significant trees in our existing neighbourhoods through catching up with the rest of SEQ by introducing tree protections into our planning scheme.
